Introducing Nxat Live: Built for voice, video and more

Now you can call or video chat without leaving the chat

 

Inspired by nxat's early webcam era experience, nxat Live is a new app built with bigger ambitions.

The first release is an experimental beta, starting with voice and video calls.

 

mini Live → runs inside the chat box

Nxat Live → runs as a sideapp on group pages

Make a nxat call on chat

Find a friend, click their name, then use the call icon 📞

 

 

When you get a call, you can join with audio or camera, decline it, or open the user's profile (top-right button):

 

 

Or call from the sidebar

 

Open the nxat apps on a group page, launch nxat L ive, open a private chat with your friend, then click call only or video call in the sidebar.

Settings

For now, settings are focused on performance and a smooth private call experience with end-to-end encryption

Privacy

You are in control of who can call you on nxat: everyone, friends only, or no calls at all.
 

Call ringtone

You can also mute the ringing sound (with more sound customization possibly coming later).

The future

I am excited to see future additions like bump power attention alerts, avatar frames/effects integration

group call invites, Spectator Mode, real-time reactions, screen sharing,

and custom webcam background effects for fun or privacy.

 

With your feedback, we'll shape setings that better match the real needs of users who live in the nxat universe.

 

Versioning

This is nxat Live version 1.0 BETA, released as an experimental build, with one-to-one voice and video calling.

 

Notes

 

At this time, mini Live and nxat Live require a registered account.

mini Live is also available on nxat mobile (Android and iOS).

Full screen mode is available in all versions.
